Invoice details
The invoice details screen is now a full-page overview of invoice payment details, purchased (or sold) items, transactions, attached documents, notes, and more. The biggest change you’ll notice is the ability to add multiple items to your invoice!
To enable full flexibility, we have enabled registering separate prices and discounts for each item on the invoice. Another novelty is the invoice number. This attribute enables you to easily track and organize your invoices per series. To edit the default numbering series, click the pencil icon next to the Invoice number input field, or visit the “Finances” section of your Company details page in AGRIVI. Invoices can also be tracked and organized per vendor or customer. To edit your customer and vendor list, find the “Manage customers” and “Manage vendors” button on the invoices overview screen. An invoice reporting feature is also available – every invoice can be easily exported to PDF, Excel, or Word file by clicking the links on the top of the invoice details screen. If you wish to export some filtered set of invoices that is also possible from the invoices overview screen.
Assets and amortization
Assets (or capital expenses) can be registered through expense invoices. To mark a purchase as a capital expense, simply mark the “Is Capex” checkbox when adding an item to the invoice and enter amortization period for the purchased asset.
An overview of capital expenses can be found on the Assets screen (available from the main Finances menu). It gives a quick insight into the start and current value, current age, amortization period, and rate for every capital expense registered.
Transactions and cash flow
Each invoice can be paid in one or more payment transactions. Transactions for every invoice can be found in the Transactions tab of the invoice details screen, and to see all transactions in your company visit the Transactions module from the main Finance menu. Transactions help you keep track of your cash flow and monitor the status of your payables and receivables.
Loans
If some purchase is paid with a loan, then you can choose that loan as a payment method when registering purchase of this item. In order to choose a loan type to link some purchase on it, first, you have to register a loan under Loans, from the main Finance menu.
